The Global Citizens Initiative has officially opened registration for their 2016 global citizen online leadership certificate course! Over an eight-week period, participants will strengthen their ability to address urgent development issues around the world through online seminars, discussion groups, and collaboration with their peers around the globe. This course is an excellent professional development opportunity for young development professionals looking to further their career in the field. The course runs from October 24th to December 19th. If you are interested, apply as soon as possible because space is limited!

Acumen is partnering with the nonprofit organization Kiva for the next +Acumen Corps Live Action Challenge, and is looking to recruit for a limited number of spots! Participants of the challenge will become a part of the +Acument Corps community, giving them access to custom online workshops, exclusive job/volunteering opportunities, and the chance to highlight their own projects to the rest of the community. Applicants who have completed two or more +Acumen courses will receive priority consideration. The challenge will take place on Saturday, October 29th at 6pm EDT. Apply by October 11th!
